WTC Automotif (M) Sdn. Bhd (WTCA) has launched the first right-hand drive (RHD) locally-assembled (CKD) GAC GS3 Emzoom in the ASEAN region. It is assembled at WTCA’s Segambut plant and is now available in one Premium-R variant only with a price tag of RM126,800. It is now RM2,000 cheaper compared to the fully-imported (CBU) unit. Effective August 10, WTCA has ceased accepting bookings for the CBU GAC GS3 Emzoom. Customers with existing CBU orders will have the option to convert their bookings to the CKD variant.
Together with the new CKD operation, the GS3 Emzoom gets a new Asphalt Black color option. It will join the existing colors namely Salt Lake Blue, Superstar Silver, Graphite Grey, and Frost White.

Customers who have been in the waiting period for 3 months or more as well as the customers who choose to convert their bookings from the CBU unit to the CKD unit will receive a free tinting service. They will also be getting a 1-year/3-times free service and a 5-year/150,000 km warranty. The first 2,000 customers will receive a free smartwatch and a 7-year/180,000km warranty on the engine and powertrain.
