Cycle & Carriage has just opened its new Sungai Pinang 2S Centre in an effort to cater to its growing customer base in the North. This new 2S Centre is not only the first Mercedes-Benz body & paint facility in Penang but also Cycle & Carriage’s 12th autohaus in Malaysia. The centre’s opening also coincides with the 125th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz.
Situated along Jalan Sungai Pinang in George Town, Penang, this new facility spans 90,000 square feet, including a built-up area of 56,822 square feet. The centre is strategically positioned within close proximity to landmarks like Komtar and Gurney.
The 2S service centre is the only Mercedes-Benz body and paint centre in Penang comprising 5 floors and 21 service & repair bays. It also has a service capacity of 550 vehicles per month.

Besides its strong servicing capacity, the new 2S Centre also boast a Green Building certification. The facility incorporates a range of eco-friendly initiatives like a façade design that minimises heat penetration, renewable energy solar panels, energy-efficient air-conditioning systems, LED light fixtures equipped with photocell and motion sensors to maximise energy savings and uses an Energy Management System for real-time building monitoring of energy usage.
