2023 BMW 750e xDrive M Sport price confirmed for Malaysia – RM699,800

BMW Malaysia has confirmed the price of the 2023 BMW 750e xDrive M Sport for Malaysia at RM699,800. The car was first unveiled alongside the BMW 750e xDrive Pure Excellence back in May 2023 with an estimated price of RM700,000. The M Sport variant brings more features to the table and costs RM50,000 more.

The car is a plug-in hybrid version of the 7-series. Currently, there are 3 variants of the 7 Series in Malaysia including the fully-electric i7 xDrive xDrive60 M Sport. This is the latest generation of the 7 series, known as the G70.

Under the hood of the BMW 750e xDrive M Sport is a PHEV system which consists of a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine and an electric motor, making a combined 489 hp and 700 Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via the brand’s xDrive all-wheel drive (AWD) system. The transmission in use is an 8-speed StepTronic automatic gearbox. The 750e xDrive M Sport does the 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.8 seconds, onward to a top speed of 250 km/h.

The electric motor sources power from a 22.1 kWh battery pack, which is good for a full electric range of up to 87 km, at speeds of up to 140 km/h. For charging, an on-board 7.4 kW AC charger enables 0-100% charging in less than 3 hours.

The main highlight of the 750e xDrive M Sport over the Pure Excellence variant is the Executive Lounge Seating on the rear with the 31.3-inch 8K BMW Theatre Screen. It is party piece that is worth the premium.

As for safety, the PHEV 7er is offered with the Driving Assistant Plus package, while the Pure Excellence gets the more advanced Driving Assistant Professional package that adds semi-autonomous driving capabilities during traffic jams. Parking Assistant Plus, however, is standard across both variants.
