2023 BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport launched in Malaysia – RM719k, ACC with Stop & Go



BMW Malaysia has just launched the new 2023 BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport here in Malaysia. Priced at RM718,800 (on-the-road, without insurance), the M Sport variant of the luxury SUV joins the “regular” facelifted BMW X7 xDrive40i Pure Excellence which was just launched in March this year here in the country.

Nicknamed “The President”, the M Sport variant of the BMW X7 xDirve40i, as its name suggests, features sports-oriented additions on the outside. This includes the M Aerodynamics Package.

The BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport in Malaysia also comes with the brand’s Iconic Glow kidney grille that is illuminated by LED fibre optics, as well as a set of 22-inch M sport light alloy wheels.

Customers can opt for the luxury SUV in Mineral White Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic, or the new M Brooklyn Grey Metallic that is offered exclusively for the M Sport variant. A summary of the Malaysian-spec BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport’s exterior kit is as follows:

Powering the BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport is the same 48V mild hybrid system found in the Pure Excellence variant. The mild hybrid system consists of a 3.0-litre turbocharged 6-cylinder engine, paired with a starter generator.

Paired with an 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission, this setup results in 380 hp and 540 Nm being sent to all four wheels, allowing “The President” to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. A summary of the BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport’s performance-related details is as follows:
