Mercedes me Store launched in Malaysia – Navigation now requires subscription



Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has announced that the Mercedes me Store is now live for Malaysian customers, offering additional digital products for all its connected vehicles.

Essentially a platform for various subscription packages, the Mercedes me Store allows customers to purchase selected personalisation offerings that includes future digital services and enhancements. Through the store, customers now have full flexibility in choosing run-time options for packages that are compatible with their vehicle.

The personalisation services are as such:

Earlier in 2019, when Mercedes-Benz Malaysia first introduced the “Mercedes me Connect” feature, Mercedes me-equipped cars came with a complimentary three-year subscription of Remote and Navigation packages as standard. These complimentary packages will need to be renewed soon by the customers if they wish to continue using them. Essential safety and maintenance services ranging from SOS, Roadside Assistance and Accident Management to retrieval of vehicle data will remain complimentary indefinitely.

The Mercedes me Connect is a way for owners to stay connected with their vehicles where they can retrieve data via the app and make full use of other digital features that range from safety essential services to convenient features such as locking and unlocking of doors and windows, making online service appointments, and customer care support. Owners can also update their personal information such as contact details, email, and password at any time.
