If this video proves anything, is that you’re never too late (or too old for that matter) to indulge in your passion or even realise your dreams.
An elderly lady was spotted and filmed at the Monza Circuit in Italy recently, with a (991) Porsche 911 GT3 RS pushing out 513 hp! That’s not what you’d expect a person of her appearance to drive; on one of the fastest circuits in the world no less!
Based solely on her body language and movements, she could easily be 65 and above but the way she drove suggests anything but old age!
The age old saying “Never judge a book by its cover” couldn’t be more true and apparent in this video. Right off the bat, the striking green 911 GT3 RS can be seen going full throttle, as it exits the pits.
As the video progresses, you’d realise that it’s nothing like a ride to the groceries – at a snail’s pace – with your own grandma; she’s actually going full throttle and hitting the redline with every gear in one of Porsche’s most ferocious, track-oriented car!
And she brakes really hard (and late) too as the emergency brake lights can be seen flashing at the end of the straights.
