In case you haven’t heard, the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team is the first team in F1 history to win seven constructors championships in a row. When the Formula 1 season resumes, you’d probably see Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas zipping around the pitlane in one of these!

It’s called the Xiaomi Pro 2 Scooter “Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 edition” and if you dare, it’ll hit a top speed of 25 km/h! Rest assured there’ll be plenty of stopping power as the Pro 2 scooter also comes with disc brakes and E-ABS (regenerative anti-lock braking system)!

Its Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) has been upgraded where kinetic energy generated from braking and non-powered coasting can be converted to electric power to increase the range of the scooter.

The 14 kg Xiaomi scooter also comes with alternate “drive modes” such as Pedestrian mode where top speed is limited to 5 km/h and 20km/h in the standard “D mode”.

It’s powered by a brushless DC motor with 600W of power, paired with 12,400 mAh lithium-ion batteries where a full charge takes eight to nine hours. Best part is, you can ride this to work if you have to; as it offers up to 45 km of “scooting range”!

That’s not all; the F1-inspired Xiaomi scooter also comes with a multifunctional dashboard with eight different displays – speed, speed mode, power, lock status, among others.

The Xiaomi Pro 2 electric scooter “Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Edition” is priced at 799 Euros (approx. RM3,900) while the standard Pro 2 electric scooter goes for 499 Euros (approx. RM2,400).
