There is a reason why we put up this story at this hour; because if posted it after lunch, offices or living rooms (if you’re working from home) would likely be redecorated with whatever you had for lunch. The Guinness World Records archive is made up of the strangest things. Just look at their list of records and you’d understand how interesting human beings are.
It’ll also make you realise that it doesn’t take a superhero to break or set a new Guinness World Record – it just requires some creativity and tenacity. Creativity to find a niche record and the tenacity to see it through – that’s all there is.
This Guinness World Record set by British stunt driver, Terry Grant, was one of them. Come on, who would’ve thought of setting a new record for the fastest wheel change on a spinning car??
Information has been scarce but we do know that it was set 10 years ago in Rome, Italy on an Italian TV show. The time required? A mere 3 minutes and 10 seconds.
Frankly, it sounds impossible to perform a tyre change in such a short time even if the car wasn’t moving!
