MINI Malaysia has introduced two new variants for the Countryman Sports – the limited edition Countryman Sports with Blackline Package and the Countryman Sports with Panoramic Sunroof.

“Since we introduced the MINI Cooper S Countryman Sports in 2018, the model has remained one of the most popular models in the local MINI portfolio. In the two years of its availability here, we have delivered over 800 units in Malaysia. The sporty model also accounted for 75% of total MINI deliveries in 2019,” said BMW Group Malaysia, Harald Hoelzl.

The MINI Countryman Sports with Blackline Package comes with a front grille and MINI emblems finished in Piano Black. The same treatment can be seen on the head and taillight surrounds and door handles. The Countryman Sports with Blackline Package will be available either in British Racing Green or Light White. Both of which will be finished with a black roof.

As for the other variant, the Countryman Sports with Panoramic Sunroof, it’s pretty much self-explanatory. For those who prefer to go without a Panoramic Sunroof, you can still have the standard Countryman Sports.

The rest remains unchanged. The Countryman sports the same 19-inch JCW wheels, a JCW Aerokit, and as for the inside, it retains the 8.8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Carbon Black Cross Punch leather upholstery, MINI Yours Piano Black trims, and a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sounds system.

The Countryman Sports also comes with MINI Connected Services that includes digital services like Intelligent Emergency Call, MINI TeleServices, and Remote Services.

Both the Countryman Sports Blackline Package and Panoramic Sunroof variants are powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with 192 hp and 280 Nm. Power is channeled to the front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission capable of propelling the Countryman Sports variants from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds. Top speed is rated at 225 km/h.

The Countryman Sports with Blackline Package is priced at RM243,280.38 while the Countryman Sports with Panoramic Sunroof can be yours for RM247,280.38. This makes the Countryman Sports with Panoramic Sunroof RM8,000 more than the standard model.

With the Balloon Financing from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the MINI Countryman Sports with Blackline Package starts from RM 2,778.00 per month, while the Countryman Sports with Panoramic Sunroof starts from RM 2,828.00 per month based on estimates of 80% loan on a five-year tenure.

The MINI Countryman Sports comes with 4-years unlimited mileage warranty with free scheduled service along with 5-years roadside assistance. For the latest price list of MINI vehicles in Malaysia, click here.

Regularly spend countless hours online looking at cars and parts I can't afford to buy. How a car makes you feel behind the wheel should be more important than the brand it represents - unless resale value is your thing.
