In case the X-Tremer and Aero Editions are just not up to your fancy, Edaran Tan Chong Motor today introduced a new Tuned by IMPUL package for the Nissan X-Trail to dress up the practical SUV with some extra sporty flair.
The Tuned by IMPUL package includes a complete IMPUL Aerokit consisting of a dual-tone front splitter and rear bumper diffuser, a gloss-black finished V-motion grille cladding, side skirts, as well as a split-mounted rear roof spoiler.
The dressed up X-Trail rides on 18-inch IMPUL Aura SX-50 wheels, shod in 235/55 section Continental ContiMaxContact MC6 tyres for some extra road-clawing capability. Additionally, the IMPUL-edition X-Trail also comes with the IMPUL Sports Spring, tuned for a more engaging driving experience.
Inside, a new Maroon Red Nappa leather upholstery covers the seats, dashboard, knee pads, and arm rests, giving the cabin some extra fanciness.
The new Tuned by IMPUL package is available on all four variants of the X-Trail. Prices for the X-Trail with Tuned by IMPUL package are as follows, on the road including sales tax exemptions, but without insurance:
- 2.0L 2WD – RM139,630
- 2.0L 2WD MID – RM150,643
- 2.5L 4WD – RM157,731
- 2.0L Hybrid – RM168,451
Compared to the regular X-Trail, the Tuned by IMPUL package costs an additional RM11,000 over its base version. However, the regular models are currently included in the Remarkable Car Offers (RMCO) campaign, with additional discounts of up to RM13,000 depending on model.
For existing Nissan X-Trail owners, the Tuned by IMPUL package can also be purchased separately as an upgrade. Prices for the additional parts are broken down as follows:
As with all recent Nissan models, the X-Trail with the Tuned by IMPUL package comes as standard with a a five-year unlimited mileage warranty. Accessories are covered by a three-year/100,000 km warranty.
For customers interested to have a look at the dressed-up SUV, the new Tuned by IMPUL Nissan X-Trail will be on display at selected ETCM showrooms on the 18-19 July.
