Gallery: Here are the 10 best car interiors, according to WardAuto Awards

We spend a large amount of time in our cars daily, be it the commute to and from work, or the weekend drives. For us car enthusiasts, we have no trouble living with the spartan interiors of our project cars. But for the majority of car buyers, interior design and comfort makes up a huge part of the car buying decision.

That is why for the past 10 years, WardAuto has been awarding the 10 Best Interiors Award to cars with exceptional cabins, and 2020 is no different – although the COVID-19 pandemic meant that the judges had to change up their workflow a little.

Selected from a list of 32 nominees, the winners of the 2020 Wards 10 Best Interior were judged based on their aesthetics, comfort, ergonomics, materials, fit-and-finish and user-friendly electronics, with no cap in pricing.

According to WardAuto, this year’s interior trends are: heated second-row seats, reconfigurable digital displays, compelling colour and fabric combinations, bold ambient lighting colours and front passenger seats available with memory position settings.

Keep in mind that the selection are based on new or updated models available in the United States only, so there might be some omissions or US-exclusive models, but we thought that it’s still an interesting exercise to look at them together and compare against other offerings available here. So without further ado, here are the WardAuto Wards 10 Best Interiors winners, in alphabetical order.
