In conjunction with the upcoming Lazada 11.11 Shopping Festival, Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the sole distributor for Ford in Malaysia, has unveiled a Lazada exclusive Limited Edition Ford Ranger Splash, priced at RM138,888 on-the-road without insurance.
Based on the XLT+ Automatic variant, the Ranger Splash is powered by the 2.0-litre 4-cylinder single-turbodiesel engine, serving up 180 hp and 420 Nm of torque. Power is transferred to all four wheels through a 10-speed automatic gearbox.Â
The Ford Ranger Splash is styled as a lifestyle-oriented pickup truck, with an all-black exterior colour, matte black kangaroo bar, sports bar, and side mirror housing, unique front grille and rear bumper, and additional wheel arch cladding.Â
Reinforcing the trendy appearance is the matte-black 18-inch alloy wheels, along with fluorescent Ranger Splash decals.Â
Changes are not just visual either, SDAC fitted the Ford Ranger Splash with an all-new 360-degree Around View Camera, as well as a SmartTAG toll-booth reader for extra safety and convenience.Â
Only 19 units of the Ford Ranger Splash will be made available, and interested customers can pre-order the limited edition pick-up truck via Lazada’s Chup Dulu function. Booking fee for the Ford Ranger is RM1,389, but you can pay a non-refundable 10% deposit (RM139) via the Lazada app from 28 October to 10 November to Chup your booking.Â
On the 11th of November, simply check-out and pay the remainder of the booking fee (RM1,250) to secure your booking. Once the final booking fee payment is completed, the full booking fee amount is refundable.
Upon payment of the booking fee, buyers will be contacted by a Ford representative to complete the purchase at their preferred showroom. The first 11 buyers who complete their booking process during Chup Dulu will also receive a RM500 Petronas gift card upon delivery of their vehicle.
Interested customers can view the truck at Ford Petaling Jaya 2 Showroom. The Ford Ranger Splash comes with a three-year/100,000 km warranty and five-year/100,000 km free maintenance package.Â
