Aside from introducing the new C200 Avantgarde and C300 AMG Line, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia also took to the stage the new C43 AMG 4MATIC, furnished with visual, safety and performance enhancements.
The 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine has been tweaked to produce 23 hp more, at 390 hp while torque figures remain the same at 520 Nm. The engine is paired to a 9-speed AMG Speedshift TCT automatic transmission, channeling power to all four wheels as per.

0 to 100 km/h now takes just 4.7 seconds with top speed electronically-limited to 250 km/h still. As for the drive modes, there’s a self-explanatory new “Slippery Mode” that joins the existing Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual modes.
On the outside, the AMG gets a new grille design, additional trims on its front bumper while a more aggressive rear diffuser sits at the back. It also gets the highly-coveted Multibeam LED headlamps, with a slightly revised 19-inch wheel design and AMG sport exhaust system.
Within the cabin, the C43’s displays are the same as the standard C200, with an upsized 10.25-inch media display from before, topped off with a Burmester Sound System.
There’s also an AMG Track Pace feature which allows drivers to gather driving data from spirited drives or track days. Other AMG specific touches include matte silver fibreglass trims, an Artico leather-finished dashboard, a panoramic sunroof and a new AMG flat-bottomed steering wheel.
