Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia (MBSM) recently celebrated its fifth anniversary in Malaysia since setting up shop in 2012. Within a short span of half a decade, the company has grown their portfolio to over RM2.2 billion from zero with four out of every 10 Mercedes-Benz cars in Malaysia financed by MBSM.
MBSM entered the Malaysian market at an opportune time to support its sister company, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM), as MBM was charting record sales of over 6,000 vehicles sold. In the first two years of operations, MBSM focused on establishing the foundations and study the needs of the market to meet the aspiration of esteemed Mercedes-Benz customers.
As the company expands its presence in Malaysia, MBSM was able to launch innovative financing solutions like Agility Finance and Lease2Go that changed the way customers finance and own a Mercedes-Benz vehicle. Commenting on the milestone, Ponnaz said: “We have 16,000 active customers, and we recorded contracts worth over RM1billion in 2017 alone. We are very proud of the collective achievement of the team and look forward to growing in line with the remarkable sales achievements of over 12,000 Mercedes-Benz cars sold by MBM, and 2,469 Commercial Vehicles sold last year. Moving forward, 2018 will be a year of strengthening our portfolio and serving our customers better”
