If you think the Tiguan is looking a little too tame, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has introduced a “WILD ” package to go with the Tiguan Comfortline.
The unruly package adds a chrome trunk garnish, a chrome load lip protector, chrome exhaust tips, scuff plates with the Tiguan logo, finished off with Volkswagen’s window tint.
Proving to punch way above its weight, the Tiguan has been a firm favourite amongst the hip and pragmatic, combining a 1.4-litre turbocharged direct injection TSI engine with a 6-speed automatic wet-clutch direct shift gearbox (DSG). Output is rated at 148 hp and 250 Nm of torque.
The Tiguan Comfortline is priced at RM 148,990 excluding the ‘WILD’ package – which retails at RM5,099.
