Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) will be holding nationwide dealer celebrations in conjunction with the iconic Beetle’s 80th birthday; and everyone is invited.
The celebrations will take place on the 17th of March (Saturday) at all authorised Volkswagen dealerships from 11 am till 5 pm. Visitors will be able to test drive the Beetle Sport 1.2 TSI, enjoy themed activities and refreshments throughout the day. 
Those participating in the test drive will also stand a chance to win a lucky draw prize of a LEGO Creator Expert Volkswagen Beetle at the dealership.
Customers will be offered a rebate of RM5,000 for the Beetle, as well as cash rebates of up to RM15,000 on other Volkswagen models. All Volkswagen models registered from the 1st of January 2018 come with a 3-year (or 45,000 km whichever comes first) free maintenance package.
In recent news, Volkswagen announced at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show that the Beetle will not be replaced once the current generation goes out of production. Instead, the baton will be passed on to the Kombi – a production model of the Volkswagen ID Buzz Concept – as the retro-styled model in Volkswagen’s line-up.
