This “classic” gangster short film reminds us of the golden era of supercars

You never know what you can find on the net these days and on a slow final week of the year such as this, with everyone being on holiday or bogged in year-end lethargy, there really isn’t a lot of new developments in the auto industry to spread about.

That’s when the luxury of spending hours on YouTube is afforded; to scour the world for interesting content to share and be amused with. What do you know, I stumbled upon a really pleasant surprise – the kind of video content that’s right up my alley and hopefully, yours too.

Featuring four of the greatest from the 1980’s – a Lamborghini Countach, a RUF CTR Yellowbird, a Ferrari Testarossa and an Aston Martin most would not have been aware of save for its modern interpretation, the classic Vantage V8 made from the late 70’s to the late 80’s.

The casts in this video of cars from an era which knew no limits when it came to vehicle design and performance were nothing short of a talented bunch as well. It featured Valentino Balboni, former chief test driver at Lamborghini and the one and only Stefan Roser, the man behind the wheel of the famous RUF CTR Yellowbird’s run on the Nurburgring in 1987 to name a few.
