Peter Pan takes you to Neverland, Electronic Dance Music takes you to Tomorrowland and now Ferrari wants to take you to Ferrari Land. Located within the compounds of PortAventura World resort, an hour away from Barcelona, Spain, Ferrari Land is 70,000 square meters of dream come true for Ferrari enthusiasts.

Officiated by Piero Ferrari, Vice Chairman of Ferrari and son of Enzo Ferrari, Ferrari Land is the first prancing horse theme park in Europe and the second in the world after Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. A total of 11 attractions suited for family of all ages will be on offer. With the Red Force attraction being the star of the show – the highest and fastest vertical accelerator in Europe, at 112 metres high and with a top speed of 180 km/h reached in just five seconds. Designed to give thrill seekers a taste of the acceleration of a Formula One car, one visitor got a more realistic F1 experience when he collided into a pigeon during the ride. The man appears to be unhurt but the same can’t be said to the pigeon and his mental state.

Other attractions include Racing Legends, Flying Dreams – allowing visitors to literally fly through the history of F1 and GT, Ferrari Gallery, Maranello Gran Race, Thrill Towers and a range of simulations for adults and children alike. Prices for Ferrari Land can be found here with Adult one-day pass starts from a cool €60 (RM282).
