Joining the recently facelifted Ford Mustang is this drop-top variant. Among notable changes include a revised fascia and a new 10-speed automatic transmission.
Apart from having its roof chopped off, many of its features are carried over from the facelifted coupe. This includes the brand new, high-res 12-inch digital gauge which replaces the conventional analogue gauges. The Ford GT also received similar upgrades to the instrument binnacle. 
Just like the coupe, the Mustang convertible can be had with either a 2.3-litre EcoBoost four-cylinder engine or the 5.0-litre V8. Optional items include MagneRide suspension which improves handling and active valve exhaust that gives off a raspier note under load.
