Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) launched the W213 E-class back in June. However, during the launch, only the E 200 Avantgarde was available for sale. For those who have been waiting for the E 250 variant, you can now place your booking for either the E 250 Avantgarde or Exclusive.
As we covered during the E 200 Avantgarde launch, MBM will be bringing in the E 250 and E 300 at a later date, although no prices were revealed at the time. Fast forward today, the E 250 E250 Avantgarde Line will cost you RM420,888 (OTR without insurance) while the E250 Exclusive line commands RM5,000 more. Both variants are CBU for the time being.

Exterior wise, the E 250 Avantgarde line wears the same styling as the E 200 Avantgarde. Therefore, it comes with a sports radiator grille that houses the large Mercedes three pointed star badge in the centre. The E 250 Avantgarde is also identifiable by the five-spoke design 19-inch rims.
Standard on both the E 250 variants (which the E 200 does not have) are Multibeam LED headlights, each comprised of 84 individual LEDs to light the way forward, keyless entry with push-start button, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, Parking Pilot and 360° view camera.
Both the E 250 come with the same 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four that is found in the E 200, but produces more power. The engine now makes 211 hp and 350 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear-wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission.
MBM is now accepting bookings for the new W213 E 250. So dear readers, will you be putting down a deposit for this fully imported E 250 or wait for the more attractively priced, locally assembled unit?
