Only 20 units have been built and they’re all sold out. That explains the exclusivity of the Lamborghini Centenario Roadster, aimed to celebrate the 100th year since the birth of its founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini.
This roadster is basically the Centenario coupe which, of course, is also sold out. Based on the Aventador, the roadster retains most of the aggressive lines and bodywork from its coupe variant. At the back lies the same 6.5-litre V12 engine producing 760 hp and 690 Nm of torque.
In the words of Automobili Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali, the car is meant to deliver “the freedom of a true open-top super sports car for a pure drive experience”. Lamborghini has also said the Centenario model will pave the way for how their future models will look like. We really can’t wait to see what’s in store for Lamborghini for the next couple of years to come.
