Want a louder Lamborghini? Valentino Balboni has just what you need

Meet Valentino Balboni, the man who arguably had the best job in the world. For four decades the Italian tested some of the finest Lamborghinis before they make it to the showroom floor. He has since retired from Lamborghini, but his contribution towards Sant’Agata did not stop there. Now, he manufactures aftermarket exhaust systems designed exclusively for Lamborghini, via his new brand called “VB” .

While it’s no secret that VB refers to his initials, his first ever product is a titanium exhaust for the Lamborghini Aventador SV. These exhausts are entirely made out of Grade 2 titanium and it’s pretty lightweight at 6.4 kg. The entire assembly took a painstaking 350 man hours, which include multiple welding jobs to make multiple components whole.VB-exhaust-lambo-3

To make it as exclusive as the Lamborghinis, production of this VB exhaust system is limited to just 30 units. This also means that they will be terribly expensive, but shouldn’t be the least of concerns for most (if not all) Aventador SV owners.

No details have been provided on the added performance, but after taking into consideration Balboni’s  40 years experience as a test driver, let’s just assume that he knows what’s best for the raging bulls. The exhaust system from VB will be officially unveiled during the upcoming Concorso Italiano on 29 August 2016 at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
