Not to be confused with a sewing machine brand, Singer Vehicle Design is no stranger in restoring classic 911 into alluring masterpieces.  The California-based restoration company has signed a partnership agreement with Historic Motoring Ventures, allowing classic 911 owners from Malaysia and Singapore to enjoy the expertise from Singer.

The company was founded in 2009 by Rob Dickinson, cousin to Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson, and now known as one of the world’s foremost distiller of the classic 911 essence.

“Our company’s heritage is based on utilizing the ultimate in automotive design, engineering and industry standards to meet and exceed the vision of our fine clientele,” said Rob Dickinson, creator and founder of Singer.

“Our partnering with Historic Motoring Ventures will extend our passion to Malaysia and Singapore so that we can share our love for the 911 with collectors in the region while taking our unique celebration of Porsche to a whole new level.” he added.

The new local partner sources for a donor classic 911 before it’s shipped to Singer’s fine experts in California. The company will perform restoration using the latest techniques to enhance the cars’ performance, aesthetics, and modern day use-abilities. The end result after 4,000 man-hours and a painstaking eight to ten months of restoration work, is a well restored 911 that makes petrolheads like you and me drool.
