Peugeot, Citroen and Toyota collaborate to develop new Vans

PSA Peugeot Citroen and Toyota have done it again, this time collaborating to develop a van. With that, Peugeot Traveller, Citroen Spacetourer and Toyota Proace became the latest vans to hit the European market. The three manufacturers first collaborated with a city car project some decade ago with the 108, C1 and Aygo.

All three vans are identical when it comes to technical features, powertrains and equipment levels. The only difference is the design, with each van having its own design language to differentiate the models. If you ask us, the one from Citroen looks the best among the three.2016-Citroen-Spacetourer-1

No word on the powertrain was revealed to us, but they are expected to be powered by a diesel engine from the PSA range. The vans, which will be assembled in PSA’s plant in Valenciennes, France, will be premiered at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
