In preparation towards the first round of Blancpain Endurance Series 2015 at Monza in April, Automobili Lamborghini sent their Huracán GT3 to the official two-day test session at Circuit Paul Ricard in the South of France.
All six official Lamborghini Squadra Corse drivers involved in this year’s Blancpain Endurance Series were present during the test session managed by Stéphane Ratel Organisation (SRO) on the 11th and 12th of March.
On the first day of the testing, Fabio Babini, Jeroen Mul, and Andrew Palmer took the #19 car out to the track while Adrian Zaugg, Mirko Bortolotti, and Giovanni Venturini drove the #63 car the next day.
According to Automobili Lamborghini, the two Huracán GT3 machines fielded by the Austrian GRT Grasser Racing Team “demonstrated its potential as it covered an impressive number of laps”. The team will be out for another test session on the 1st and 2nd of April at Autodromo di Vallelung, before heading to the opening round in Monza on 11th and 12th of April.
