Looks like we will all be having a good start to the new year, because the Minister of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism, Datuk Seri Hasan Malek, has announced the new pricing for RON95, RON97 and diesel.

Effective at the stroke of midnight of 1 January 2015, RON95 will be priced at RM1.91 per litre, diesel at RM1.93 per litre and RON97 at RM2.11 per litre. That’s a good 35 sen reduction for RON95, 29 sen for diesel and 35 sen for RON97 from December’s pricing since the adoption of the managed float system.

In a press statement, Malek said, “All oil companies and petrol station operators must abide by the new pricing, otherwise stern action will be taken against those who violate the new rules.”

And oh, remember Shell’s Win Free Fuel campaign? Now’s your chance to pump more fuel! By the way, Happy New Year, guys!
