MINI, the British premium carmaker has just introduced its MINI Yours Customised personalization programme to allow customers to create bespoke personalised trims for their beloved MINI. Customisable items include side scuttles, interior trims, illuminated door sills and LED puddle lamps.
Through innovative use of 3D printing technology, customers have free reign over the font, colour, design layout and even surface finishes. The whole customisation process is done through the global online store and customers will be guided step by step through the process.
For the side scuttles, customers can build upon one of four basic design, select their desired colour, surface finish, text and pattern. You can even have different designs for the left and right scuttles and are interchangeable with a new pair of design in a few simple steps.
On the side, the illuminated door sills and LED puddle lamps can also be customised with bespoke writing and design. How cool is it to be greeted by your signature the moment you open door? The same configuration can be applied to the dashboard trim as well.
All MINI Yours Customised products will be produced at production facilities in Germany and will be available from 2018 onwards. The bespoke items can be applied to most MINI models.
