Fresh off its reveal, Geely’s Thunder 16-in-1 electric drive system has found its way into the Geely Galaxy TT in China. For now, a sole flagship Ultra high-performance variant will be available, limited to just 999 units.
The Ultra variant features a dual-motor setup, with the front making 245 hp and 277 Nm of torque while the rear brings 333 hp and 320 Nm to the table. Combined, that is a total system output of 578 hp and 597 Nm, good for a zero to 100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds and top speed of 210 km/h.
A 75.2 kWh CATL LFP battery delivers a quoted 650 km of range on the optimistic CLTC cycle, or we expect approximately 530 km under the more realistic WLTP cycle.
It packs an 800V architecture with 6C DC fast charging, meaning a 10-80% state-of-charge in just 11.6 minutes. However, AC charging is limited to just 6.6 kW, though its V2L functionality is higher at 6 kW.

On the inside, the Geely Galaxy TT features an oblong-shaped 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster with rounded off edges with a bridge-style centre console housing dual smartphone flat surfaces, cupholders, and a rotary-style multifunction knob for the 15.4-inch infotainment display. A nice finishing touch comes in the form of a digital analogue-style clock.
Completing the cabin are physical air-conditioning controls, a massive 25.6-inch augmented reality head-up display, and a panoramic roof as well as front seats with heating, ventilating, and massaging functions. Bordeaux leather wraps the interior and even the steering that houses a Boost button.

To look the part, the Ultra variant gets red accents on the nose, black 19-inch alloy wheels, and actual carbon fibre accents. While not visible, adaptive dampers work with double-wishbone front and a five-link rear suspension setup to live up to the Ultra moniker.
Completing the safety kit is Geely’s G-Pilot H7 that allows for advanced autonomous highway and city driving capability.
