Suzuki has released a new bodykit sourced from Awin for the Suzuki Swift, giving the hatchback a sportier appearance. If you are expecting the sportier Swift Sport variant to debut on the fourth-generation model, too bad, because this kit only delivers the looks but none of the performance that you’re actually hoping for.
In Japan, this accessory is part of the Suzuki Sport Black Aero Package, retailing for JPY312,972 (approx. RM7,804). This nets you the Awin bodykit consisting of a front, side, and rear under spoiler, front grille garnish, aluminium wheels with valves, and black wheel centre caps.
There are also more accessories on offer, which include carbon fibre-look side mirror covers, door handle protectors, a fuel lid cover, body graphics, and stainless steel pedals.
With all these add-ons bolted onto the Swift, one has to wonder what the fourth-generation Swift Sport might look like. The Awin bodykit certainly gives the hatchback a more angsty appearance compared to the standard car. But despite appearances, the standard Swift is only available with a new 1.2-litre mild-hybrid three-cylinder petrol engine making a modest 81 hp and 108 Nm.

One can only imagine if Suzuki had installed the 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 140 hp and 230 Nm of torque, paired with either a manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The company previously sent off the outgoing warm hatch with the Suzuki Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition to mark the end of production in 2025, meaning the current all-new fourth-generation model has so far not seen a true Swift Sport variant, leaving enthusiasts wanting.
