Chery Tiggo 8 PHEV CSH launched in Malaysia from RM160k — 7-seater with 1,200 km range, 347 hp

Following its initial preview a few months ago, Chery Malaysia has now launched the Chery Tiggo 8 PHEV CSH, a new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant of the D-segment SUV, with a price of RM159,800 on the road and without insurance – identical to its regular petrol-powered counterpart that made its debut two years ago.

Launching alongside the Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV CSH, the highlight of the car is – of course – its new PHEV powertrain, said to be capable of a claimed range of 1,200 km from a single tank of fuel and a fully charged battery.
