Hankook Dynapro HT2 launched in Malaysia — SUV/pickup tyres with reduced noise, improved grip and durability

Hankook Tire Malaysia has launched the new Hankook Dynapro HT2 in Malaysia, its latest highway-terrain tyre for SUVs and pickup trucks with reduced noise, improved durability, and grip on wet or icy terrains.

Hankook’s says its new Dynapro HT2 tyre now boasts improved wet performance, thanks to newly optimised groove designs and a straight four-channel waterway to prevent hydroplaning and increase water evacuation abilities. The tyre is also constructed with a new compound with hydrophilic properties, which further increases grip in wet scenarios.

Though not exactly needed in our parts of the world, the tyres now have more sipes for improved grip and control on icy conditions.

The Dynapro HT2 tyres also feature improved multi-pitch sequencing, which features a tread design with tread blocks in varying sizes. These staggered block patterns, according to Hankook, produce different frequencies that overlap and cancel each other out, resulting in a quieter and smoother drive without sacrificing other attributes.

Hankook also says that the new Dynapro HT2 tyres are more durable thanks to its new all-season compound. Along with an optimised stiffness pattern, it allows for an exclusive flat, square profile, which evenly distributes pressure across the surface of the wheel — bringing a 13% increase in mileage compared to its predecessor.

For those preparing for a camping trip or a hometown drive, the new Hankook Dynapro HT2 tyres are now available in 16-, 18-, and 19-inch sizes at authorised Hankook dealers nationwide.
