You’ve seen the next generation Renault Captur making its debut at the recent Frankfurt motor show, what that means is that the current Captur is in its last leg of service and there are good deals to be struck, such as this limited edition Captur Trophy.
Priced no differently compared to the standard variant Captur at RM107,980, the Trophy does come with a few USPs which are quite persuasive, namely its Vibrant Orange body colour and the added convenience of a foot-sensing hands-free powered tailgate, the jury is however still out on those chequered flag decals on the sides.
The new Captur Trophy is also offered on Renault Subscription at RM1,499 per month for a two-year subscription contract and RM1,699 per month for the one-year plan, inclusive of road tax, insurance and regular maintenance fee. Additionally, those who opt for the Switch Prime Plan will also get access to drive other Renault models such as the Koleos and Megane R.S.
The Limited Edition Captur Trophy is powered by a Euro 6-compliant turbocharged 120hp and 205Nm 1.2-litre TCe 120 four-cylinder engine with start-stop function mated a six-speed dual-clutch auto.
Its comprehensive equipment list mirrors that of the regular Captur, so keyless entry with ‘walkaway’ auto locking, 7-inch infotainment display (reverse camera included) and an interior lined with combi-leather come standard. Five-year unlimited mileage warranty and free vehicle maintenance over five years or 100,000 km are also included with every purchase of the Captur.
