Video: How to SAVE FUEL – According to our Friends and a Fuel Expert

With fuel prices on the rise, optimizing fuel consumption has become a priority for many drivers. While the type of vehicle plays a role, driving habits also significantly impact fuel consumption.

In this video, we discuss various tips to improve fuel efficiency with our friends from different backgrounds. Not just that, we have also asked a “fuel expert” about effective ways to save fuel.

Firstly, Tengku Djan, also known as the “Prince of Drift” emphasizes the importance of minimizing braking. Yes, minimizing braking is one way to improve your fuel consumption. What he means is to always have a safe distance with the car in front of us. This is because constantly braking and accelerating will burn more fuel as you fight the car’s inertia.

But what about a “normal” person on how they save fuel? We discussed with a Japanese influencer, Arisa Yamanaka and she pointed out to always turn off the engine while we are waiting for someone, instead of idling the engine. She also admitted to not drive as much.

We also asked Leona Chin, a professional racer and she pointed out on her way to save fuel which is driving at a constant speed, below the speed limit. She said that driving at a higher speed will burn more fuel as the car is fighting through the compressed air ahead of the car. Lastly, we talked with Dennis Yin, a “gym freak” who emphasized the importance of proper tire pressure, as underinflated tires can significantly reduce fuel economy due to more rolling resistance.

To validate our friend’s suggestions on how to save fuel, we ask an actual professional fuel expert for his opinion. To know more about it, watch the video.
