Chery Malaysia has announced that it is collaborating with the National Sports Council, and is supporting the local athletes who are heading to the upcoming Olympic games in Paris next month. To further motivate and reward the athletes’ efforts, the carmaker will be gifting medal winners with its cars.
The gold medalists will be rewarded with a Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, while the silver medalists will receive an all-electric Omoda E5. Bronze medalists on the other hand will be able to drive home a Chery Tiggo 7 Pro.

Chery Auto Malaysia President, Leo Chen said, “We know they have put in the hard work and long hours of training for the games. We have high hopes that this year, Malaysia will achieve the coveted gold medal that the nation has been eyeing.”
National Sports Council Director-General, Abdul Rashid Yaakub, said, “We are indeed very happy with the pledge by Chery Malaysia to reward Malaysia athletes who will do well in the upcoming Olympics in Paris. We hope this will spur the athletes to give their best and make the country proud.”

Globally, the Chery Group is supporting local athletes from various countries who will be competing in the upcoming games. In Malaysia, various activities, including viewing parties, have been organised to cheer on our athletes.
