Automobili Lamborghini has appointed SunAgata Supercars Sdn. Bhd. as the new sole distributor for its vehicles in Malaysia, beginning January 1, 2021. The agreement includes distribution of new Lamborghini vehicles, alongside spare parts and rights to aftersales services in the country.
The newly-formed team at the Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur (LKL) Centre will be led by Chief Executive Officer Roland Chan, who is also concurrently serving as the CEO for McLaren Kuala Lumpur. Working alongside an experienced cohort of automotive professionals, owners of Lamborghini vehicles previously procured from the official Malaysian franchise can look forward to continuity of service excellence at LKL.
Initial workshop operations will be conducted at a temporary facility at Audi Centre Glenmarie, Shah Alam, while construction of the new state-of-the-art workshop is completed. The new LKL workshop is expected to be operational in March 2021, while the Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur integrated 3S facility is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2021.
The temporary facility will still be equipped with dedicated Lamborghini parking area, reception, and facilities, ensuring convenience and the highest level of customer service at all touchpoints during this transition period.
