Shell Malaysia conducts hourly sanitisation of their stations

In light of the Movement Control Order and the mad spread of Covid-19, Shell has announced steps to keep all 950 of their stations sanitary.

The company would like to assure customers that the most common touch points, such as the fuel nozzles, sinks, taps, switches/buttons and such are disinfected by the hour.

Customers at the Deli2go can only takeaway food during this time. Hourly sanitisation is also conducted onto areas such as counter tops, pastry thongs, handles, and the touchscreen displays on the coffee machines.

They’re even increasing the frequency of cleaning their toilets, to every hour, while ensuring constant soap and water supply. To remind customers of the need for “social distancing”, markers will be placed at the store’s counter and pay window.

Shell Malaysia would also like to assure customers that their staff undergo daily temperature screenings, are fully equipped with face masks and nitrile hand gloves.

Speaking of which, Shell would like to remind customers to remove all gloves and plastic protective gear to avoid static contact when refueling.
