Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) today announced that the Volkswagen Sungai Besi 3S Centre will be operated by their latest dealer partner, GVE Asia Group as of 2nd December 2019.
The Sungai Besi outlet will be GVE Asia’s first entry to the Volkswagen network. GVE Asia Group has had previous experience in distributing and retailing luxury and premium passenger marques in Malaysia through their used car dealerships. GVE Asia Group’s businesses also include sales and services and other automotive related services.
The Volkswagen 3S Centre, previously operated by Wearnes Automotive, spans a built-up area of 75,181 square feet over two floors. The outlet includes a showroom capable of displaying nine vehicles, waiting lounge with free WiFi and cafe, and service facilities that are in accordance to Volkswagen’s global standards.
VPCM Managing Director, Erik Winter, expressed appreciation to Wearnes Automotive for 11 years of support to the Volkswagen network in Malaysia. “We’ve seen many years of growth, and their service to the brand has been invaluable,” he said.
Winter further added that “At the same time, it gives me great pleasure to welcome GVE Asia Group into the network. I look forward to a fruitful partnership as we continue to build the Volkswagen brand together and to meet the needs of our customers.”
Operating hours for the Volkswagen Sungai Besi 3S Centre will remain unchanged; The Showroom will be open from 9 am to 7 pm from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday, and 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday. Aftersales and Services will be operating from 8 am to 6 pm from Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 1 pm on Saturday, and closed on Sunday.
