Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has flexed yet another fibre of its high-performance SUV muscle with the introduction of the new GLC 63 S 4MATIC alongside the GLC 63 S Coupe 4MATIC and the G63 wagon at the Sepang International Circuit.
Like the GLC 63 S 4MATIC, the Coupe draws power from a 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 paired to the 9-speed Speedshift MCT transmission, with 510 hp and 700 Nm. In terms of the 0 to 100 km/h burst and top speed, it’s identical with the GLC 63 S.

Unlike the panoramic roof in the GLC 63 S 4MATIC, the Coupe likely restricted by design, only gets the sliding sunroof but is equally treated to an AMG steering wheel, Nappa leather upholstery, carbon fibre and brushed aluminium trims.
As it rests on the AMG sports suspension with Air Body Control, decorations on the outside are also provided for by the AMG Night Package kit which consists of the 21-inch AMG cross-spoke forged wheels, an AMG spoiler lip, the AMG performance exhaust and the Multibeam LED headlamps.
For driving information and entertainment, both the Burmester sound system and head-up display are similarly offered in the GLC 63 S Coupe.
Its list of driving aids are just as comprehensive, with the aforementioned surround view camera, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, Adaptive Brake Lights, Active Parking Assist and Cross Traffic Alert in the GLC available here as well.
