Formula Drift Champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. and his drift-prepped Ford Mustang has become the first pair to ever drift around the entire Nurburgring Nordschleife.
If you’re not aware, this is actually his second attempt after calling off the first due to bad weather last year. Yet, the Formula Drift champion still managed to entertain us with a video of him casually drifting in a Ford Raptor, which eventually went viral.
“I was out of my comfort zone for the majority of the hot laps. I had to catch my breath, which is something I’ve never experienced behind the wheel since I was a rookie in Formula Drift,” said Vaughn.
The 5.0-litre supercharged engine mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox, producing between 700 to 900 hp, utilising road-legal Nitto NT555 G2 tyres to put down its power.
