Alpina’s have been well-known for tweaking BMW’s since the middle of last century and unlike other performance specialists, they’re actually recognised by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority as “automotive manufacturers” as some of their renditions of BMW models have rolled off the same production line as the “normal people BMWs”.
And this one-of-a-kind BMW Alpina B6 XDrive Gran Coupe BMW CCA Edition, created together with the BMW Car Club of America, is no exception.
Sitting in the front is a bespoke 4.4-litre V8 Twin-Turbo engine delivering an eye-watering 600 hp with 800Nm of torque; propelling the Gran Coupe to a 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds with plenty of power left to spare before it hits the 318 km/h. Being the XDrive also means power is sent to all four wheels.
On the outside, the Alpina B6 is finished in the exclusive Alpina Blue Metallic while its interior gets draped in Merino Opal White leather upholstery – a truly timeless combination of style and exclusivity. Complementing the upholstery are Alpina Piano Black trims with a hand-finished Alpina Lavalina steering wheel with white stitching alongside floor and trunk mats with bespoke white edges.
Beside the unique production plaque found in the engine bay, the interior is also finished off with a customary, handmade Alpina production plaque positioned on the centre console – it reads BMW CCA Edition 01/01. Â Just one of one, in the whole world. The plaque features signatures from the father and son behind the Alpina family business.
Also worthy to note is the CCA Edition’s titanium exhaust system which has been engineered as a complete one-piece exhaust system which stretches from near the engine to the rear carbon fibre exhaust tips. The lightweight system by Akrapovic alone saves around 7 kgs of weight.

Each BMW Alpina is manufactured in collaboration with BMW production facilities where Alpina’s bespoke components are installed to ensure the highest possible standards of production.
