Koenigsegg has just recently showcased the new Regera Aero Package that will see an increase in downforce to 385 kg from the 310 kg on a Regera in standard trim.

The Aero Package includes new front and rear winglets and a deeper spoiler whereby the new rear winglets would complement the top-mounted fully stowable rear spoiler. And you’d need all the downforce you can get with 1,500 hp and a whopping 2,000 Nm of torque at your disposal courtesy of 3 electric motors and a twin-turbocharged V8 engine.

Century sprints are child’s play when you’re putting out such figures. The Regera boasts a 0 to 100 km/h time of just under 3 seconds, 0 to 300 km/h in just 10 seconds and 0 to 400 km/h in a mind-boggling 20 seconds. All that power is sent to the rear wheels only without a transmission thanks to its Koenigsegg Direct Drive.

The Regera also features other world’s first with its 800V electrical system in a production car, the highest electrical output used in a production hybrid, the first use of a fully robotized body and the first time a vehicle has featured a fully stowable, top-mounted rear spoiler.
