This C5 Blast Go-Kart Ultimate does 0-100 km/h faster than an F1 car! [+Video]

Daymak, a Canadian company has just made the world’s fastest sprinting go-kart that sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.5 seconds. That’s right, not even F1 or an existing hypercar could manage the same!

It’s called the C5 Blast Go-Kart Ultimate, and according to Daymak, this go-kart could even fly. It’s powered by a 10kW electric motor that’s juiced by a 2,400-Wh lithium-ion battery. The Electric Ducted Fans (EDF) motor helps by providing additional power to the kart.

There are four EDF motors located on each side of the driver, and four more right behind. If you do the math, that’s a whopping 12 EDFs strapped to this 200kg go-kart!

The price for this pocket rocket? A cool $59,999 (approximately RM257k) a pop for what’s essentially the fastest go-kart in the world. If that’s too much to stomach, there’s a less hardcore variant on sale, managing the century sprint in 3.9 seconds and costing $9,999 (approximately RM43k). The go-karts are hand-made in Toronto and require 60 days for assembly.
