Andy Murray, an international tennis figure from Scotland came out triumphant at the 2015 BMW Open and walked away with not just the title and a trophy, but a brand new BMW i8 to go with them. The tennis tournament was organised by FWU AG 2015 and the finals took place on a clay court in Munich.

The victory marks the 27-year-old’s maiden win on a clay court, outplaying Philipp Kohlschreiber with a score of 7:6 (4), 5:7 and 7:6 (4) after three hours of world-class tennis. During the award ceremony, BMW Group Germany’s head of sales and marketing, Peter van Binsbergen congratulated Murray on his victory at the tournament’s 100th anniversary, and that the Munich carmaker looks forward to 2016 – BMW’s 100th anniversary.
