Ferrari celebrates 75 years of high-octane history with new anniversary logo

Ferrari is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, and to mark the momentous occasion, they’ve unveiled a new anniversary logo, alongside an emotional video on its YouTube channel starring some of its employees – who the company says “ensure Ferrari’s success day in, day out”.

The special logo was created to mark 75 years since Enzo Ferrari opened his small factory in Maranello back in 1947, and is made up by a stylised number 75, alongside the iconic prancing horse and the 1947-2022 lettering.

Aside from the anniversary logo, Ferrari Chairman John Elkann also unveiled a sculpture of the iconic prancing horse to commemorate the milestone, which is actually a giant puzzle with all the individual pieces laid down by Ferrari employees.

“For this special year we have created a special icon: a sculpture made up of thousands of components forged here in our factory and positioned one-by-one by my Ferrari colleagues,” said Elkann.

“It is a symbol of the Ferrari spirit which is shared both here in Maranello and by all our family around the world. It reflects the essence of who we are, our past 75 years, and our future. It is a symbol of a company that, as Enzo Ferrari once said – Above all, is made of people.”

Back in 2017, Ferrari celebrated its 70th anniversary by unveiling the limited-production LaFerrari Aperta, alongside 350 special-edition units of each of their models. We don’t know what 2022 holds for the iconic Italian marque, but rest assured it’ll not be a quiet one. Happy 75th, Ferrari!
