The automotive parts manufacturer will channel the contribution through the Sumbangan Perubatan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM).
The funds will be used to purchase medicine, medical equipment and other necessities in support of the fight against Covid-19 in hospitals around Malaysia.
“These two weeks have seen a shocking rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Our public hospitals have been working overtime and are experiencing a shortage of medical supplies. We hope our contribution will, in some capacity, provide the much needed supplies and alleviate the challenges faced by healthcare practitioners,” said MBM Resources Berhad, Chairman, Datuk Dr. Aminar Rashid bin Salleh.
“We cannot fight this battle alone. The health and safety of our country depends on each and every one of us doing our part and in that spirit, we urge the Rakyat to do theirs by staying home.
