A 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 resides under the bonnet, paired with the  7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission. Power output is rated at 367 hp at 5,500 – 6,000 rpm and 520 Nm of torque at 2,000 – 4,200 rpm. This is helped by Eco driving programme that utilises the ECO start/stop function and sailing function that decouples the engine from the powertrain to use less fuel. It can be selected from the AMG DYNAMIC SELECT settings among the other driving programmes that include Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus, and Individual.

At the opposite side of the driving programme from Eco is the Sport Plus, that heightens the driving sensation by providing faster gear changes with sportier engine soundtrack.

For better handling, C 450 AMG 4MATIC is equipped with the adjustable AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension, that combines independently developed axle components with high aluminium content and electronically controlled shock absorbers. This ensures for a minimum amount of body roll and better traction in corners.

The 4MATIC all-wheel drive system also contributes to the better traction in corners. In the C 450 AMG 4MATIC, the power is distributed 33:67 front to back for higher agility. The ESP® with Curve Dynamic Assist has been tuned with a sportier setup too.

WHAT ELSE?

The C 450 AMG 4MATIC comes in either sedan or wagon bodystyle, and both comes complete with ADAPTIVE BRAKE, COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS, and ATTENTION ASSIST as standard. Option list include 19-inch wheels, performance seats, and designo or Lugano leather upholstery.
