We have just shown you a new breed of GT-R, the Nissan GT-R NISMO. Now, we would like to show you how fast this new Godzilla goes around the Nurburgring. Nissan has been teasing the world about the lap time set by the new GT-R, which was only announced at the Toyko Motor Show.
This 595-horsepower GT-R Nismo did a blazing 7 minutes 8.679 seconds, about 11 seconds faster than the 2013 model. Driven by racing driver and NISMO Brand Ambassador Michael Krumm, it is now the fastest volume production car to lap the track. Some say the GTR can manage the century sprint in 2 seconds flat, however there was no mention by Nissan. The Nismo GT-R is priced below $200,000.
