Subaru teases mysterious LEVORG concept, wagon [+Video]

Subaru seems to be very good at making wagons appealing to young petrol heads. I still can’t get my head around it; bulky and at times ugly looking thing, wagon. However, this time, it may just be bulky because the Japanese automaker has released some teaser images of their latest concept ahead of its debut at the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show. Possibly a very good looking Subaru LEVORG, a concept at the moment.

This wagon’s or ‘sport tourer’ as they call it production model is set to be launch next year 2014. Its name “LEVORG” is said to come from a combination of the words “LEGACY”, “REVOLUTION” and “TOURING”. The powertrain has the newly-developed 1.6-liter Horizontally-Opposed direct injection turbo “DIT” engine, which Subaru says it embodies both superb driving pleasure and extraordinary environmental performance. It also comes with next generation EyeSight with many added safety functions and the newly launched steering support control.

If you are a Subaru wagon fan, you can check out their special website www.subaru.jp/levorg/sp to find out more as they countdown to its launch on November 20th. Here are some teaser images.
