Rally racing is always a duo affair between the driver and the co-driver/navigator, as win or lose, or at some extreme; life or death; is depending on the co-operation level between these two parties. Case to point, the successful partnership on rallying best pair, Sebastien Loeb and Daniel Elena, with multiple World Rally Championship titles. However, one does wonder what happened when both the driver and co-driver couldn’t get along well?

This video was caught on the rallying duo from India, driver Samir Thapar and co-driven by Vivek Ponnusam on a Mitsubishi Evo 10. As seen in this video, Vivek act like a father riding shotgun while his child is driving on the road for the first time. In which you can’t blame the co driver as the driver’s skill was pretty, rubbish. Some of the funniest quotes from Vivek as the co driver as below:

You have to turn the wheel!

Sharp left! Sharp left! SHARP LEFT!!!

Medium right, c’mon Sammy. Please.

Medium left long. Medium left long! LONG!!! Long! Long! LONG!! TURN IN!

Medium left MEDIUM LEFT!!! Listen to my calls!

Sammy. You have to listen Sammy. Otherwise it is not working.

Samir, you are breaking the car!

In the end, Samir, who is actually a very rich gentleman in India, had enough of Vivek and told him “Shut up. Don’t tell me how to drive”

Regardless whether Vivek is an annoying co driver or Samir’s questionable driving skills, this is comedy gold and one of the funniest video we ever seen from the world of rallying. Hit the video below for your amusement.
