Apart of the Sultan of Brunei and royal families of the Middle East, the Sultan of Johor has a wide collection of cars, from exotic super cars to historical cars. His Majesty’s collection includes the only Buggati Veyron in Malaysia as well. Now, the Sultan has added two new cars into his collection, but in the form of the Proton Satria Neo.

Mind you that these are not your ordinary Proton Satria Neo sold by Proton to average Joes. Proton Motorsports has taken effort to make the two Satria Neos here to be special made only to the Sultan. Although exterior wise it looked like a normal tuned Satria Neo, this is in fact the only Satria Neo fitted with a R3 Supercharger kit for the Campro CPS engine. This should add an additional 60HP from the 125HP stock form, which is decent. R3 ECU and R3 exhaust system were fitted as well.

Apart of custom paint jobs, the car was fitted with R3’s goodies, from the lightweight 16 inch alloy rims, the specially made body kit and so on. The brake department were beefed up courtesy of the AP Racing brakes and being specialist in ride and handling, R3 specification TEIN coilovers has been added to lower the overall ride height and provide better body control and handling.

Interestingly, Malaysia’s most expensive car plate number “WWW 1” was fitted into one of the special Satria Neos as well. The Sultan has given thumbs up to his new rides and let’s hope to see a special supercharged version of the Satria Neo to be revealed in our streets by the coming months of this year.
